This photo was created using a process called Focus Stacking. When taking a photo of an object up close it becomes difficult to capture the details of the whole object in focus. As one part comes in focus you will lose another. To remedy this you can take several photos focusing on different parts of the subject. The using a software program you can combine the imaging into one image. The image above was created from the 5 below. I also edited the colors and sharpness.
