Beautiful Weed
Hand shot outside in low light. It was challenging to get the camera steady enough that there wouldn't be much blur. I had to use a slower shutter speed and an open aperture to get enough light. I feel it effected the DoF.

An Idea
My first try playing with HDR (high dynamic range). Basically you take 3 photos at different exposures and combine them. This allow you to capture the darkest parts and the lightest parts of a picture.
This turned out more interesting then I thought. The blue is from another light I was using for the photo. The blur in the blub is from the wires vibrating too fast for the camera to capture them and make them look still. Even at 1/4000 of a second then are still too fast.
